Prince Harry’s upcoming docu-series, Heart of Invictus, has unveiled its official trailer and release date. Amidst numerous speculations surrounding Harry and Meghan, an impressive new preview has been revealed for his latest documentary project.

The highly anticipated Netflix series, Heart of Invictus, helmed by Archewell Productions, a company founded by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, offers an in-depth exploration of the Invictus Games. This globally recognized sporting event is dedicated to wounded, injured, and sick veterans as well as armed services personnel, with Harry playing a pivotal role as a co-founder.

Heart of Invictus delves into the remarkable life stories of several athletes, recounting their journey to the Invictus Games while also providing an exclusive behind-the-scenes peek into the tournament’s production process.

The inaugural trailer captures Harry addressing the participants, imparting words of wisdom: “The Invictus Games serve as a springboard for you to transcend whatever burdens you carry.”

In addition to his on-screen presence, Prince Harry takes on the role of executive producer for the series, set to premiere on Netflix on August 30th.

In a statement, he expressed his admiration for the Invictus Games community, emphasizing its representation of courageous and committed individuals from 23 different countries worldwide: “Heart of Invictus is the remarkable narrative of competitors united by their dedication to service, now bound by the spirit of sport. These participants, recovering from both visible and unseen injuries, share a poignant insight into their path to the Invictus Games, capturing our admiration and respect.”

The directorial prowess behind Heart of Invictus is attributed to Orlando von Einsiedel, the recipient of the 2017 Academy Award for Best Documentary Short for his work on The White Helmets.

As the countdown begins, Prince Harry and Meghan are gearing up for the upcoming Invictus Games in Dusseldorf, Germany, scheduled from September 9th to the 16th.

In parallel, this latest trailer release accompanies the news of Harry and Meghan’s significant collaboration, as they adapt a best-selling literary work into an engaging Hollywood production, marking their maiden endeavor since parting ways with Spotify.

Sources reveal that Netflix has taken the lead in financing the project, entrusting the couple’s production company with its realization.

This artistic venture represents a notable departure from the couple’s previous documentary endeavors, including titles such as Harry & Meghan, Live to Lead, and the aforementioned Heart of Invictus.
